La Pirogue

La Pirogue, situated on the sun-drenched west coast of Mauritius, is a unique resort that encapsulates the spirit of the island. Named after the traditional Mauritian fishing boats, its design reflects the country's rich maritime heritage. The thatched-roof bungalows, reminiscent of the sails of a pirogue, are spread amidst a vast coconut grove, ensuring guests feel a deep sense of connection with nature and the island's traditions.

The resort's beachfront location provides stunning views of the turquoise lagoon and the coral reefs beyond, setting the scene for countless sunsets. La Pirogue boasts a comprehensive range of amenities. From an array of water sports and activities that introduce guests to the marine wonders of Mauritius, to the renowned spa and wellness facilities. In addition, experience the charismatic storyteller who will regale you with stories of the history of Mauritius while you enjoy a traditionl 'Confit'.

Created specifically for La Pirogue by Anouchka Zuel, Sega Zoomba capitalises on the global Zumba phenomenon by combining it with traditional Mauritian Sega. The routine is practiced by day at the poolside and on the beach, staying fit has never been so fun!

The culinary experiences at La Pirogue are also commendable, offering a fusion of local and international flavours that showcase the island's diverse culinary heritage. It is a wonderful base for an exceptional golf break.
